I had to get out to do a little birding on this beautiful day. I didn't see a lot of birds...Mallard, Canada Geese, Song Sparrows, Cardinal, Turkey Vultures, and a Tree Swallow.
This sparrow below was jumping around in the dead vegetation. I couldn't get a good picture so I'm not sure what it is. The first picture is the back/tail of the sparrow in the centre and the second picture is the face sideways.
The two dead pieces in the centre going right is where you can see the full side of the face .....with the eye in the middle.
