New Year's Day Bird Walk (Nature London) - Greenway Park
It was a very bitterly cold walk this morning: -14C with windchill -24C, light snow. My first bird for 2018 is the Bald Eagle.
We walked along the Thames River to see what we can find.
What I saw: Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Mourning Dove, Brown Creeper, Mallard, Canada Geese, Common Goldeneye, Common Merganser, Pied-billed Grebe, Great Blue Heron, Common Crow, and Ringed-billed Gull. There were other birds found but I could not get my eye on them. |
